College of Magic
Training Manager, Conjuring Arts Research

For several years, I served as a volunteer lecturer and course coordinator at the College of Magic, where I taught magic and performance skills to children and adolescents. The primary aim was to boost their confidence and facilitate their development various psycho-social areas, as well as nurture their own progress as performers.
In 2025 I took up the position of Training Manager at the College of Magic, aiming to enhance the calibre of training across fields of magic & sleight of hand, mime, clowning, drama, puppetry, ventriloquism and technical theatre. I am currently working on the design on an immersive 'school tour' occurring inside the College's Victorian era building in Cape Town.
Boys to Men Mentoring Facilitation & Process Work

For a decade, I worked as a lead staff member and facilitator in an organisation that delivered impactful weekend-long fully immersive, residential experiences for adolescents aged between 14 and 18 years. Collaborating with a skilled team and a seasoned psychologist, we created a powerful program centred on psycho-dramatic emotional process work. Our mission was to empower at-risk youth by cultivating emotional literacy, fostering social and community cohesion, and facilitating the healing of deep-seated trauma. I was intimately involved in the design and implementation the programme, participating in a transformative intervention that left a positive impact on hundreds of young people in schools and rural areas across the country. My interest in wholly immersive, residential experiences was catalysed by my work in this space.
This work stoked a deep passion for community-based prosocial projects, and developed my skills in designing and implementing transformative experiential designs across large areas, as well as coordinating diverse teams.
